Last Day Of the Vegan Challenge

I can’t believe it’s the last day of the vegan challenge, but alas the day has arrived. I’ve honestly loved every single day of this challenge and have a new found love for my food. When I started this month’s challenge I didn’t have any expectations, I just wanted to see what it was like to eat a plant based diet. Of course, I always hope that any new challenge I take on will improve my overall health and wellness. So, on day 30 I will share with you that I feel better than I did on day 1. Here are a few of the benefits I’ve experienced from eating vegan this month.

  • I eat throughout the day instead of skipping meals.
  • I’m happier when I eat and get more satisfaction from what I eat.
  • I’ve met a new group of people in the vegan community who are helpful.
  • My overall mood is better.
  • I have increased energy.
  • I’ve had great conversations with loved ones about what they eat and overcoming illness. Many of them are interested in eating vegan meals.
  • I never feel deprived and my sweet tooth is satisfied naturally through fruit.
  • I feel more in tune with my body.
  • I’ve learned new and creative ways to eat at home and when dining out.
