Use organic food items in unique ways!

Your kitchen is full of healthy food. From your kitchen cabinets to the refrigerator… eating organic is a major part of your life. That is a wonderful thing. Why? There are many benefits associated with organic food. Like fewer pesticides, improved taste, and cancer prevention. Well, guess what? There are many different ways to use your favorite organic items. Believe it or not, you can even clean your home with them. Yes, you read that right. These are a few unexpected – but super effective – ways to use organic items around your home.

Let Organic Lemon Get Your Kitchen Clean. How many cleaning supplies do you keep underneath your sink? And how many of those contain harsh (and potentially dangerous) chemicals? Get your kitchen clean the natural way. Grab an organic lemon fro your fridge. Then get ready to clean. A lemon slice can be used to clean your cutting board. Just rub the slice along the board to disinfect it. To remove stains, squeeze a little lemon juice, let it sit, and then wipe away. Lemon can also be used to remove rust stains (mix it with some all natural laundry detergent) and remove built up grease.

Polish Your Furniture With Organic Olive Oil. Chances are you have a bottle of organic olive oil hanging around. It is a must for many fabulous recipes. That is only the beginning. There are plenty of ways to use organic olive oil around your home. Have wooden furniture that needs a polish? Olive oil will do the trick. It can also be used to shine up your stainless steel pots and pans, fix a squeaking door, remove dirt from your outdoor tools, remove paint from your body and hair, and clean your sink. This is one multi-use product you will want to keep in stock.

Use Organic Apple Vinegar To Perfect Your Garden. There are many great uses for vinegar. In fact, it is a natural cleaning agent. So do not be surprised if you see it in DIY recipes for green cleaners. An unexpected way to use organic apple vinegar? As a weed killer. Mix it with orange oil and a small amount of liquid soap. Then spray it directly onto any problem areas in your garden. Another great use for apple vinegar is to use it as an odour remover. Pour it into a bowl and leave it out. Pet smells and other lingering odours will be gone before the day is done.

Take a good look at your kitchen. Are there secret household cleaners just waiting to be used? The answer is yes. So stop buying chemical cleaners and expensive products. Use these organic items around your home.
